Tessellated Shape System

Description

Spex has taken the concept of tessellation and applied this method to create contours for improved wheelchair seating and positioning.
This system can be added to back supports from the Spex range to further enhance ‘support’ and pressure distribution across the back contact surface.

Upgrade Vigour, Manta and other Spex back supports to maximize trunk stability and positioning. The different foam densities can be tailored to the users support and positioning requirements using various layering techniques.

Get hands on with the kit to customize the contouring and form shapes to the user’s trunk support requirements. Tessellated shape system can be used:

• To assist clients with mild to moderate postural needs when using a standard back support with flat padding
• To provide foundational structure and positioning to accommodating back supports such as the Supershape and Spex Classic.
• Improve postural trunk alignment and pressure distribution
  across the contact surface. (eg. Creating sacral/lumbar supports)
